Options gambling & Go Train Adventures

Bought 90 yhv jul 42.5 c @ $0.55. We'll see next week if it was a good play or a bad one. Saw Leisha & her kid (Josiah) on the Go today. Cute kid! Looks so much like my little monster! It was so adorable the way he kept playing with my face (doing the eyes, ears, nose & mouth game). Kids are so amazing. They make life totally worthwhile.

Quick thoughts...

Yawn! Tired, but want to jot down a couple of thoughts real quick.

Sly Stone @ the Grammy's. What was that all about???? I was so distressed to see Sly come out and try to sing & play the keyboard. What happened to the musical genius whose music was so instrumental (haha, no pun intended) to the sound of so many artists? Why did they not just stick him in the audience and have him nod and wave? At least my image of him would have remained untainted. As it is, he's still Sly, but he's also... broken.

Debating whether to buy some calls on YHOO (July 2006's). Not sure what this whole Chinese government issue (See http://www.forbes.com/free_forbes/2006/0227/052.html for details)will do to the price of the stock near term, and I don't want to get stuck with calls that are priced out of the market. Think I'll put in an order for Jul 42.5 C @ $0.50 and see what happens.

Dammit! My brokerage site's screwing up again. I tell you if I didn't work for the bank I'd switch in a heartbeat. So much potential. So little delivery.... . Well, guess I'll place my trade tomorrow. Probably a better idea to do that anyhow.

Baby Boy!

2 weeks and 1 day ago, I got a new addition to my family - a little baby boy! Jacob Aaron was born on Jan 25, 2006 @ 4:37 pm. Weighing a whopping 7lb & 14oz and at 20" long - the poor kid was so scrawny I felt like I was going to break him when I held him. A big difference from his big sister I tell you. She's a scrappy little kid who could run roughshod over most kids her age (more on her in a minute). I'm so happy that he's here though:-). So what am I doing here blogging you ask rather than spending some quality time with him? Well, right now the lil' tyke is an eating, sleeping, crying and pooping machine. Not much room for ol' dad in there (except for diaper duty and comfort duty, and none of those are required at this moment). One other job is protection from big (21 month old) sister. She means well, and its clear she really loves her little bro, but she's such a tough little kid, that a friendly pat on the head really translates to a hefty swipe. Same thing with a sisterly hug while the little guy is lying down, that turns into a slam from the top rope of the ring. Protection becomes a necessity when she's in his vicinity. Still, I much prefer the friendly swipes, tugs and slobbers than the jealous streak that generally accompanies siblings. Its nice to have another. I just love being a dad.Downside, no more car shopping - now its minivan shopping :(. For my wife, but it means that I'll end up driving her Buick Regal, rather than getting my own family oriented fun-mobile. Sux - but you just have to take the good with the bad. Could be worse, I could be driving the biodegradeable 1980 Honda Accord I was driving in 93' when I first met my wife!
